dc.descriptionChiang Mai has large numbers of migrant laborers who come to work and live, especially women, who work in agriculture, construction and service sectors. Statistics show that the number of migrant women is about equal to the number of men. In this study, we researched migrant Shan women who come to work in Chiang Mai with the goal of understanding the methods of adaption employed through studying their everyday living patterns, which illuminates being the family bread winner as a Shan women living outside of the village, as well as a foreign laborer who must adapt to the Thai governments security policies. Aside from this, the study attempts to ascertain how the expectations for the future held by these women effects their present course of action.th_TH
dc.description.abstractเชียงใหม่เป็นจังหวัดที่มีการเคลื่อนย้ายของแรงงานข้ามชาติจำนวนมากเพื่อเข้ามาทำงานและอยู่อาศัย โดยเฉพาะแรงงานหญิงที่เข้ามาใช้ชีวิตอยู่ในทุกภาคส่วนงานทั้งในภาคเกษตรกรรม งานก่อสร้าง และงานบริการ พบว่ามีจำนวนไม่น้อยไปกว่าแรงงานชายเลย ในงานศึกษานี้ได้ทำการศึกษากลุ่มแรงงานหญิงชาวไทยใหญ่ที่อยู่ในพื้นที่จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เพื่อทำความเข้าใจการปรับตัวของแรงงานหญิงข้ามชาติ โดยศึกษาผ่านรูปแบบการดำเนินชีวิตในชีวิตประจำวันอันสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงการเป็นผู้หญิงไทยใหญ่นอกพื้นที่หมู่บ้านในสถานะของผู้ทำงานส่งเงินเพื่อดูแลครอบครัว และความเป็นแรงงานหญิงภายใต้นโยบายด้านความมั่นคงของรัฐไทย ซึ่งพวกเธอเหล่านั้นมีการต่อรองและปรับตัวต่อนโยบายต่างๆ ของรัฐในหลายรูปแบบเพื่อให้สามารถดำเนินชีวิตในเมืองเชียงใหม่ได้อย่างราบรื่น รวมถึงความคาดหวังต่ออนาคตอันสะท้อนให้เห็นรูปแบบของการดำเนินชีวิตของแรงงานหญิงเหล่านี้ในปัจจุบัน คำสำคัญ: แรงงานหญิงข้ามชาติ การปรับตัว นโยบายด้านความมั่นคงth_TH
